Unique bathroom setup with half-size swing doors offers a quirky charm. The small double room feels cozy and intimate, perfect for couples settled in for a short stay.
Experiencing mismatched service was frustrating. Clarity on room service options would've been a benefit, especially with no cold breakfast choices after four nights. Toilets lacking proper clean upon arrival can dampen the mood, and while the room was nice, a more attentive replenishment of essentials like teas and coffees would've enhanced the experience. Given the bustling locale, a more streamlined drink service would help avoid long waits. Lastly, the entrance could do with a fresher upgrade to match the room's appeal.

The hotel had a central setting to Gatwick Airport. The food was good with plenty of choice!

Enjoyed the huge superior double room with a convenient design. Had such facilities, like an iron and ironing board, coffee/tea making equipment, and a work desk. Location: the hotel was really close to the garden, Gatwick airport, and the historic town center, shops, and brewery.

Charming decor, spacious room, pet-friendly policies
Parking situation needs improvement!!! Poor drainage in bathrooms and inconsistent room servicing are disappointing. The noise from the pub is quite disruptive as well. Better soundproofing would enhance guest experience significantly!!!

The historic building exudes character, with a warm welcome from the hosts and a significant emphasis on dog-friendliness. The large bedroom featured a comfy bed and a stylish bathroom, while the evening meal and breakfast showcased good quality grilled dishes. The room's proximity to a traffic island made it less than quiet, which affected my partner more than me, and there was a slight delay in receiving service during dining hours.
